On Thursday, the Tivy Antlers baseball team suffered its third straight loss. It was an 8-7 road defeat against the Smithson Valley Rangers that happened in walk-off fashion.

Heading into the bottom of the seventh inning, Tivy held a 7-4 lead over Smithson Valley. However, the Rangers rallied to score a run and load the bases with nobody out. At that point, Tivy head coach Chris Russ made a pitching change and called upon Eric Tenery to save the game for the Antlers.
