COMFORT — Comfort had its three-game winning streak snapped in grand fashion by Lexington. The Eagles scored 70 points for the third time in a month and nearly matched the number of points the Bobcats had allowed all season in four quarters.

ROGERS — On the road to open district play, Comfort got off to a great start against Rogers. The Bobcats led 33-0 late in the fourth quarter before the Eagles scored a pair of garbage time touchdowns to make the final score 33-16.

COMFORT — Pete Aleman scored two touchdowns and Ralph Agulto returned a blocked put for a score giving Ingram a 21-0 lead over Comfort at halftime. The Bobcats rode Jason Faulkner in the second half outscoring ITM 20-7 and giving Comfort the 34-28 win over their former district rival.
It hasn’t been the start to the 2016 season that either Comfort or Ingram was hoping for. The Bobcats do have a win, sitting at 1-2, but the transition to the new offense is still taking shape.

WIMBERLEY — The Lady Antlers displayed a strong showing this weekend as they took home first place in the Wimberley tournament. Tivy went a perfect 7-0 over Friday and Saturday and won 14 of the 15 sets played against their opponents.

COMFORT — Does anyone like district play more than the Comfort Bobcats? The answer is likely no, as they improved to 2-0 in district play beating San Antonio Cole, 55-21.
The return to district play did the Comfort Bobcats well as they picked up their second win of the season, beating Marion, 35-20. The running game was huge again for Comfort as they ran for 400 yards moving to 1-0 in district play.
