Karen Vaucher

When Karen Vaucher, with her husband, Jacques, moved to the Texas Hill County in 2006, she brought with her 27 years of experience in gourmet cooking and restaurant management.

Karen said she began her cooking career in Europe, working for Regine in Monte Carlo and Paris. Moving with Regine’s organization to New York in 1975, she went on to be a successful New York City restaurateur, opening four establishments in the 1980s, namely Primadonna, Le Bilboquet, Bistro du Nord and Bar du Theatre.
