… to the individuals and nonprofits who made possible Saturday’s 3-mile Shatter the Stigma run/walk event that served to promote the idea that people with mental health problems should not be stigmatized, but treated with compassion. The event, which also raised money for Kerrville State Hospital’s Volunteer Services Council, served as yet another example of the commitment many locals have to continue making their community such a great place to live.
