Toasts

… to the Kerrville Salvation Army during this National Salvation Army week. We celebrate the abundant work the corps does in our community, which last year including providing 4,521 cumulative nights of care and 14,415 nightly meals in its shelter and providing housing assistance to almost 100 families. The corps also handed out 2,293 clothing and furniture vouchers, provided 844 emergency grocery orders to people in crisis, and helped 175 people with emergency dental assistance. It provided 270 children with new backpacks, shoes, and supplies to begin school, and assisted 246 families at Christmas time. And these stats don’t include the myriad classes offered at the Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center, vacation bible school programs, fitness programs, or the many opportunities to worship and fellowship at the corps.

Roasts
