I was in line at Starbucks with one truck in front of me. My mind was on my agenda for the day, so I looked down at my calendar — yes, paper not a phone. In that time, the truck moved up and I did not; a minute went by.

I moved up to order and noticed that the car behind me pulled away. First, I am sorry for that brief delay in line. When I get up to the window to pay, the Starbucks employee told me the truck in front of me had paid for my coffees.

I was in shock.

Second, thank you, person in the white truck. So I decided to pass it on as well. Keep it going in your next food or coffe line. Remember acts of kindness bring joy!
