In recent years, the U.S. Constitution has been in the news more than at any time in my memory. From the 25th Amendment on “Removal of the President” to Article 1, Sections 2 and 3 regarding impeachment. Also remember President Obama admitted his planned Executive Order on DACA was unconstitutional and did it anyway. President Biden conceded that the extension of the eviction moratorium was likely unconstitutional; did it anyway.

All elected officials take an oath to uphold the Constitution. Yet many don’t. How can you tell if they are upholding their oath? Sometimes, as above, you hear it from their own lips; at other times, you will have to compare their actions to the Constitution.
