Sign on Shepherd Rees Road

A temporary road sign on Shepherd Rees Road is embellished with cans that were retrieved off the side of the road with a message to “PLEASE STOP LITTERING.”Trash along the road can sometimes make its way into the Guadalupe River and other waterways throughout Kerr County.

Amid all the news of citizens petitioning the Kerrville city council and the evacuation of the U.S. military, civilians and supporters out of Afghanistan, the past couple of weeks have also proven to be full of Kerr County citizens being not just good neighbors, but admirable community citizens.
