March 15, 2019, Bill P. Murray passed away quietly at the Crestwood Nursing Home in Port Angeles, Washington, after succumbing to Alzheimers. He had spent the last three years in the care of Nancy, his wife of 35 years, and the staff at Crestwood.
Bill was born January 9, 1931, in Welfare, Texas, and grew up in the Hill Country near Kerrville and in San Antonio. He served his country for 10 years in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1962, during which time he worked at auto mechanics in the States and Germany. He was good at mechanics, loved repairing, rebuilding and restoring cars and trucks; in fact, he fixed his first car and drove it at 9 years of age. Later, he got into fixing race cars and then especially liked to watch the TV sports of drag racing and football. But Bill was multi-skilled, and cars were not his only profession. He spent 30 years of his life in Texas and Alaska, remodeling motels and homes. Here he met and married his fourth wife, Nancy.
Likewise deceased are Bill’s first wife, Irene, and second wife, Betty.
He is survived by his third wife, Deanna, and fourth wife, Nancy. He is survived by his and Irene’s son, Ron; grandchildren, Drew (deceased) and his wife, Jo, Heather, Jennifer, and Kris.
He also is survived by his and Betty’s daughter, Sharon and her husband, Charles Marsh; granddaughter, Gena and her husband, John Dromgoole; great-granddaughter, Kayleigh; granddaughters, Shannan and Shannon Spenner; great-granddaughters, Kamryn, Emery and Kinlee; daughter, Patti (deceased); granddaughter, Michelle and her husband, Dale McKinnon; great-grandchildren, Aaron, Caleb and Trish; and four great-great-grandchildren.
And he is survived by his and Deanna’s son, Genoe and his wife, Tamara; grandson, Christopher; and granddaughter, Brittany; and son, Chris and his wife, Lindsay; and granddaughters, Emma and Sophie.
Lastly, Bill is survived by his and Nancy’s daughters, Beverly, Tami and Becky; grandson Jason and his wife, Nicki Collins; great-granddaughters, Salem and Brier; grandson, Trevor; great-grandsons, Kaleb and Oskar; grandsons, Arron and his wife, Marie Collins; and Devin and his wife, Ashley Stubbs.
