Kerr County’s unemployment rate decreased over the course of last year, according to figures released Friday by the state.

The rate was 4% in January 2022, and it fell to 3% in April before rising to a high of 3.7% in June. The jobless rate declined steadily thereafter, according to figures from the Texas Workforce Commission.
