Residents are invited to exchange holiday recipes at the local library on Thursday.

Library staff will provide blank recipe cards and complimentary holiday treats, according to a press release from the city of Kerrville. The library also invites patrons to browse the collection of cookbooks available for check out for more inspiration.

The event will start at 6 p.m. in the first-floor meeting room of the Butt-Holdsworth Memorial Library, 505 Water St.

"This is a great chance to share those favorite recipes and find some new inspirations for your holiday meals," states the press release from the city.
