Redistricting workshop October 2021

Attorney Charles Kimbrough, far left, advises members of the Kerr County Commissioners Court on the issue of redistricting. Officials have proposed tentative new boundaries for commissioner, constable and justice of the peace precincts.

The Kerr County Commissioners Court met Thursday to discuss redistricting and tentatively and unofficially formulated new boundaries for commissioner, constable and justice of the peace precincts. Proposed precinct maps should be available on the county’s website within days.

The Kerr County Commissioners Court is expected to examine, discuss and possibly adopt new precinct boundaries at a meeting to begin at 9 a.m. Nov. 3. Members of the public may address the court during that meeting. The county must approve new precinct maps by Nov. 12.
