Schreiner University will host a ribbon cutting signaling Kerrville Public Utility Board’s completion of the four new solar farms in and around Kerrville.
The ribbon cutting will be at Schreiner’s Weston property at 5 p.m. today, with a reception immediately following at the Weston House. This event is free and open to the public.
This project has been made possible by a partnership among local nonprofit Mo-Ranch, Schreiner University, the city of Kerrville, Schneider Engineering, RES Americans and NextEra. The four solar farms are at Schreiner University, Mo-Ranch, Goat Creek Cutoff and Spur 100.
The ribbon cutting will signify the completion and going
“online” of all four solar farms.
Schreiner University’s Weston property entrance gate is along East Main Street across from the Schreiner University baseball and softball fields and is marked by a flagpole.
