Temperatures remain slightly cooler than average today. A warming trend is on tap this weekend through early next week.

Partly sunny skies are expected across the area today. Daytime highs climb into the middle and upper 80s ranging from 84 to 87 degrees for most locations. Our average high is 89 degrees.  Winds return to the southeast at 5 to 15 mph.

I expect dry weather today as high pressure builds across the state for a few days.

Humidity levels increase tonight. Under partly cloudy skies, low temperatures range from 64 to 67 degrees. Southeast winds continue at 5 to 10 mph overnight.

Friday becomes partly cloudy, windy and very warm with highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s. This is close to average for this time of the year. Southerly winds increase to 15 to 25 mph during the day.

Friday night becomes very humid with low clouds developing overnight. Low temperatures remain in the lower 70s. Gusty southeast winds continue.

Partly cloudy skies and gusty winds are in the forecast this weekend. Highs top out in the lower to middle 90s each day. Low temperatures fall into the lower 70s each night.

We could see a few showers and storms late Saturday night through Sunday morning.
