The following is a summary of the Ingram Police Department’s activities for the week of June 23-29.

June 29

8:58 a.m.: An officer was running radar in the 500 block of College Street when he was approached by a citizen who said they saw a man who they believed was impaired in a public place. He was given a courtesy ride home.

10:32 a.m.: While running radar in the 100 block of City Park Road, an office was approached by a citizen who told him of a wreck in the city park. Two cars had minor wrecks, and a report was generated.

5:43 p.m.: While on patrol in the 100 block of Ingram Loop, an officer saw that a stop sign

had been run over, and street signs were in the road. A report was generated to document damage.

7:20 p.m.: A caller in the 3100 block of Junction Highway West reported a hit-and-run involving his car.

11:30 p.m.: Police helped MES with a woman who had fainted and was unresponsive in the

100 block of Riverview Road. When police got there, the woman was alert, and the officer stood by while EMS checked on her.

June 28

5:58 p.m.: Police went to the 100 block of Bridge Road after getting a report of loud

music. The person in question was found and told to turn it down.

7:34 p.m.: Police went to the 100 block of McNeil Street after getting reports of a wreck. There were no injuries.

8:54 p.m.: An officer saw a person riding a lawn-

mower in the 3300 block of Junction Highway West. The man had finished mowing and was going to a gas station for a soda. 

9:35 p.m.: Police helped the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office with a wreck in the 200 block of Indian Creek Road.

June 27

12:06 a.m.: Police went to the 200 block of Texas 39 after getting reports of a barking dog. The officer couldn’t make contact with the owner, but the dogs seemed to be well kept with food and water. 

12:11 a.m.: Officers found a subject in the 100 block of Beaver Road who was wanted in another county. That person was arrested on active warrants.

12:30 p.m.: Officers went to the 3400 block of Junction Highway West to help the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office find two juveniles who had run away. They were not found.

1:11 p.m.: Police responded to the 3200 block of Junction Highway West for a wreck. 

5:06 p.m.: Officers met with a woman at the station who was worried about her great-grandchildren, who had not been returned from a visit with another family member. 

5:42 p.m.: Officers conducted a welfare check on a man in the 500 block of College Street. The man felt sick earlier in the day, and stopped answering his phone. He was OK.

9:33 p.m.: Officers helped the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office with a disturbance in the 100 block of Roland Lane. When police arrived, there was no one there and no signs of distress.

9:36 p.m.: Officers helped move a disabled car in the 3100 block of Junction Highway West that had gotten stuck in a turning lane.

June 26

12:12 a.m.: A man was arrested in the 200 block of Texas 39 on active warrants. 

9:33 a.m.: Police went to the 200 block of Carolyn Street after getting a 911 open line. All was OK.

12:14 p.m.: Officers went to the 3300 block of Junction Highway West after getting a report of a business alarm that was going off. Everything was secure. 

6:08 p.m.: A caller reported a car in the 100 block of Morgan Street that was blocking the road. Police searched the area, but nothing was found. 

10:18 p.m.: Police went to the 200 block of Washington Street to serve a warrant. The man no longer lived there.

June 25

12:18 a.m.: An officer went to the 200 block of Main Street after getting a report of a disturbance. A man was arrested.

12:21 p.m.: A caller reported an overflowing trash can in the 200 block of Second Street. The case was forwarded for a follow up.

10:32 a.m.: A caller reported high grass and weeds in the 200 block of Oakleaf Street. The case was assigned to patrol for follow up. 

10:39 a.m.: A caller reported high grass and weeds in the 500 block of College Street. The case was assigned to patrol for follow up. 

2:49 p.m.: Police went to the 200 bock of Washington Street after getting a report of an intoxicated woman who was allegedly fighting with others. She was arrested and charged with public intoxication. 

10:17 p.m.: An officer went to the 400 block of Velma Street after a man was seen on other people’s property. The man had special needs, and the officer stood by until he was picked up. 

June 24

12:02 p.m.: Police went to the 3300 block of Junction Highway West to check on a man and a baby. No one was found. 

12:12 p.m.: A caller reported unsafe and unsanitary material by a home in the 100 block of Sixth Street. The case was sent to patrol.

12:30 p.m: A caller reported that there was a trailer full of trash on a piece of property in the 100 block of Sixth Street. The case was sent to patrol.

12:42 p.m.: Police received a report of a man seen shooting a pellet gun in the 100 block of Cypress Falls Drive. He left the area.

4:44 p.m.: Officers went to the 400 block of Josephine Street after getting a report of a civil issue regarding a man who wanted his backpack. A woman said she didn’t have it.

5:44 p.m.: Police went to Ingram Dam to help the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office and a game warden who had gotten reports of underage people drinking on a boat. 

June 23

12:20 a.m.: Police saw a man who was walking in the 3200 block of Junction Highway West. He was walking home. 

5:11 a.m.: Police helped the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office with a structure fire in the 100 block of Briarwood Lane. 

5:13 p.m.: Officers went to the 100 block of Hummingbird Lane after getting a report of an unresponsive man. He was OK.

6:01 p.m.: Police met with a person in the 300 block of Woodland Drive who had

questions about a possible offense. 

11:29 p.m.: Police stopped a car in the 3100 block of Junction Highway West. the driver was arrested on drug offenses and the passenger was cited.
