Most of the tips solicited for the National Grilling Month article addressed the best way to barbecue brisket. Griller extraordinaire Rick Anderson, of Tarpley, stood apart, however, as he offered instructions on preparing poultry perfectly.

“To give chicken a better reputation, I’m going to give y’all a few tips on things I do, and what I use, that might take chicken a notch higher on your grillin’ list,” Anderson said.
