A fiddler who has performed for two former presidents and with musicians such as the Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton will play in Kerrville this month.
Shoji Tabuchi, who plays a wide variety of styles, including country and classical, will perform at the Kathleen C. Cailloux City Center for the Performing Arts at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 29.
Tickets range in price from $41 to $51 and can be purchased by calling 830-896-9393.
Tabuchi has appeared on “Good Morning America,” “60 Minutes,” “Live! with Regis and Kathie Lee,” “To Tell the Truth,” “Nashville Now” and “The Ralph Emory Show.” He has drawn such large crowds in Branson, Missouri, that the state government there gave him an award for his contribution to Missouri tourism.
Tabuchi has played for former Presidents George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush. He has performed at the Grand Ole Opry at least 27 times.
“Shoji’s show encompasses all the wholesome values of truly great family entertainment that still rivals the pure excitement of Las Vegas or New York,” states the Cailloux Theater’s website.
