Early registration is now open for the Freddyburg Youth Theater Summer Camp. This year students will perform in the junior version of the Disney Broadway musical “Frozen,” based on the smash-hit animated musical film. Until June 16 the fee is only $165. Students from third grade to high school senior are accepted. Scholarships are available, and the class size is limited to only 45 students, so early registration is recommended.

For the sixth year in a row, the Freddyburg production will be part of the theater’s main stage season. The camp will run from July 1-28 with classes Monday through Friday, 1-5 p.m. There will be no class on Thursday, July 4. The students will perform five shows beginning Thursday, July 25, and ending Sunday, July 28.

More information and registration forms can be downloaded from the theater’s website at fredericksburgtheater.org. Interested students and their parents can also register by calling or going by the theater’s box office during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The box office is next to the theater at 1668 US 87 South, Fredericksburg.
