The Kerrville Daily Times will have live updates as the results from the May 7 municipal elections become available, as well as comments from some of the candidates hosting election watch parties in Kerrville and Ingram.

There are 38,197 registered voters in Kerr County. The county reports 5,848 of them at the polls today.

Provided are updates on the total percentage of uncanvassed votes reported by all voting precincts to the Kerr County Elections Office.

KERRVILLE ELECTIONS

Mayor:

  • Judy Eychner — 2,133 votes, 60.1%

  • L. Brent Bates — 1,416 votes, 39.9%

City Council Place 3:

  • Katy Chapman-Hanna — 1,307 votes, 36.59%

  • Joe Herring, Jr. — 2,265 votes, 63.41%

City Council Place 4:

  • Brenda Hughes (incumbent) — 2,196 votes, 62.9%

  • Robin Monroe — 1,295 votes, 37.1%

Proposition A (funding for Public Safety Facility):

  • For — 1,970 votes, 54.72%

  • Against — 1,630 votes, 45.28%

Kerrville ISD board of trustees

District 6:

  • Zach Sumrall — 195 votes, 39%

  • David R. Sprouse (incumbent) — 305 votes, 61%

District 7:

  • Michael Tackett (incumbent) — 373 votes, 51.03%

  • Samantha Munoz — 328 votes, 48.97%

INGRAM ELECTIONS

Mayor:

  • Kathy Rider (incumbent) — 53 votes, 22.27%

  • Bill Warren — 88 votes, 36.97%

  • Claud Jordan — 97 votes, 40.76%

Alderman (two seats):

  • Rocky Hawkins (incumbent) — 103 votes, 27.11%

  • David Britton (incumbent) — 100 votes, 26.32%

  • John Cantwell — 93 votes, 24.47%

  • Tommy Eure — 84 votes, 22.11%

 Ingram ISD board of trustees (two seats):

  • Joy Molina — 322 votes, 29.9%

  • Adam Nichols — 378 votes, 35.1%

  • Wayne McClintock — 377 votes, 35%

Proposition A (Ingram ISD):

  • For — 503 votes, 53.45%

  • Against — 438 votes, 46.55%

CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS

State of Texas Proposition 1:

  • For — 4,428 votes, 79.88%

  • Against — 1,115 votes, 20.12%

State of Texas Proposition 2:

  • For — 4,978 votes, 87.17%

  • Against — 733 votes, 12.83%
