Harry Mason “Mike” Bristol II
KERRVILLE — On Friday, October 9, 2009, Harry Mason (Mike) Bristol II, 72, passed from this life at his home after a two year battle with cancer. He was born on January 19, 1937 in Chicago, Ill. to Harry M. and Grace Bristol. He was a true Cubs fan beyond belief. He served his country in the United States Marine Corp. “Once a Marine always a Marine.”
Those left to honor and cherish Carl’s memories are his wife Patty of 34 years; three grown children; Mason, Elizabeth, and Kathy, their spouses and children; his best friend, Daryl F. Musso. Also he was blessed with friendship of Ted Whitlow and wife Sherry. Last but not least, we must also mention his little buddy, Pablo along with a host of many loving friends. He was preceded in death by his father Harry M. Bristol.
Graveside Services with Military Honors will be held at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, TX on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009 at 11:15 a.m.
The family would like to thank all of the doctors and staff at the Kerrville VA Hospital and the San Antonio VA Hospital for their kind and diligent attention. Also many thanks go out to Vista Care Hospice who went above and beyond for Mike and family.
Memorial donations may be made in honor of Mike to your local Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
