Suspect arrested for multiple drug charges

An undercover operation last week led to the arrest of an alleged drug dealer and manufacturer in Kerrville.

Kerrville police witnessed a controlled buy of $200 worth of cocaine from Carlos Delacruz Morquecho, 29, in the 400 block of East Barnett Street on Nov. 14 at approximately 11 p.m.

After witnessing the purchase by an undercover informant, officers obtained a search warrant, arrested Morquecho at his home in the 100 block of Avery Street and charged him with one count of manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance less than four grams in a drug free zone and manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance more than four grams and less than 200 grams.

Morquecho has an arrest history dating back to 1999 and has been charged with assault, marijuana possession, evading arrest and possession of a controlled substance.

He remained in the Kerr County Jail Thursday.
