Lillian Mae Bednorz Dworaczyk
KERRVILLE — Lillian Mae Bednorz Dworaczyk, 75, resident of Kerrville for 26 years, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2009, at a local care center. She was born in Panna Maria, Texas, on Feb. 8, 1934, to Ambrose and Proxy Bednorz. A member of Notre Dame Catholic Church, Lillian was actively involved in the Women of Notre Dame for several years. She and her husband, Willie, were involved with numerous organizations, including Knights of Columbus and the German Dance Club. She met her husband, Willie J. Dworaczyk, while living in Karnes City, Texas. They were married on Sept. 12, 1950. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Willie Dworaczyk; son, Bill and wife, Rosanne, of Dallas, Texas, and their children, Matthew, Hannah and Rachel and her husband, Sam Barraco; son, Michael and wife, Kimberly, of Murphy, Texas, and their children, Kyle and Samantha; and daughter, Susan Hocker and husband, Robert, of Kerrville, Texas, and their children, Trevor and Jordan; two sisters, Gladys Bordovsky of Karnes City, Texas, and Irene Burt of San Antonio, Texas. Recitation of the holy rosary will be Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009, at 7:30 p.m., at Grimes Funeral Chapels. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, Sept. 18, 2009, at 10 a.m., at Notre Dame Catholic Church. Graveside services will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those who desire may make contributions to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
