If you are ever pulled over by a police officer, you should only roll your window down just enough to hand him your license, registration, proof of insurance and concealed weapons permit, if applicable, so they can't stick their head in. If you are a CHL holder and are armed, informed them before you say anything else. If they want the window all the way down, ask them "how can I help officer?" If you are asked to step out of the vehicle, make sure you lock the doors behind you. Make sure the first thing you say is that you do not consent to any search and do not explain; just say that you do not consent to any search of your vehicle. Whatever the officer says, ask him "how can I help officer?" or "I will make no statement without representation by an attorney".

But it sounds like this guy had so much weed it could have been smelled with the windows up from ten yards away.
