A Feb. 18 front page article in The Kerrville Daily Times told of a job fair to be held at the Kerrville VA on the following Saturday. Response to the job fair announcement had great results, with initial reports stating that 77 interested applicants visited the fair.

Initial reports also state that the VA made 21 selections from applications received at the job fair. A selection means that the candidates will move further along in the screening and hiring process. It does not mean that any candidate was offered a job.

Do the city's signage and billboard regulations need an update?
